Tools for Revit: Release Notes
2014-5-8:
- Parameter Scheduler
- New Project Schedule Review tab allows you to quickly see and
correct any scheduled shared parameters that are missing from elements on
the schedule. Opening the tool
from an active schedule will jump to a review of the active schedule.
- Store formulas and default data in templates for assigning
parameters in the family editor
- Add parameters (including formulas) to selected elements in a
project
- This will add shared parameters to the families
of those selected elements. It
only affects families in the project and does not save changes back to
source family files.
- Extract/transfer/export parameters from project schedules
- Extract/transfer/export shared parameters and formulas from
selected elements in a project
- Select all elements on a schedule for setting parameters
- View list of selected families and filter current element
selection by family name for setting parameters to current selection
- Parameter Transformer
- Can now more easily edit key schedule data using the Revit
Schedule option on the Excel tab.
- Can now use elements filtered and scheduled by Revit
schedules as the selected element set for Parameter Transformer
functions, exports, and imports.
Use the Revit Schedule option on the Excel tab.
2014-3-6:
- Space and Zone tools
- New option to create new spaces from linked rooms only for
those spaces that do not already exist.
This is helpful when receiving updates and you don’t want to lose
information previously stored in spaces.

already existed

machines.
2014-2-11:

- Custom filters now use the category names as seen in the
Revit interface instead of the category names the API uses.

- Parameter Transformer
- Added ability to export associated space and room properties
of elements. Importing does not
write to associated space and room properties of elements yet.
- Separated view templates and views to be separately
filterable. This also fixed a rare
glitch that would make some view parameters not show up in the parameter
selection list.
- Fixed graphical anomalies that occurred when using
magnification settings in Microsoft Windows to make the text larger.
